What is Box Sign?

Box Sign is a comprehensive eSignature solution seamlessly integrated into the Box content cloud ecosystem. This platform facilitates a secure and efficient signing process for documents online. Made accessible to our community at https://olemiss.app.box.com, faculty and staff can effortlessly upload documents, establish customizable templates for recurrent use, and dispatch these documents to recipients for legally recognized eSignatures – all from their computer or mobile device.

Box Sign not only facilitates an integrated eSignature solution within our Box workflows but also brings with it the robust security measures that are synonymous with Box. It ensures that sensitive information, especially confidential health records, remains protected by adhering to stringent security standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, and more. This compliance reassures us that the signing process meets the highest levels of security and privacy required in our operations.

How Does Box Sign Benefit Us?

Box Sign brings robust eSignature capabilities into our existing workflow with Box, ensuring a unified experience. It streamlines processes by doing away with traditional paper-based methods.  Through Box Sign, completing agreements, forms, and approvals becomes a swift, digital-first experience.

Who is Eligible to Use Box Sign?

Box Sign is available to every Department within the University that requires sending and receiving signed documents in a secure and efficient manner.

Getting Started with Box Sign:

1. Navigate to Box Sign and log in to initiate the eSignature process.
2. For setting up a departmental shared space, please send an email to
services@olemiss.edu with your department’s name and the contact details of the designated space administrator. These administrators will have the authority to adjust
settings, oversee permissions, and manage documents within Box Sign. To add new
members to your team space, email services@olemiss.edu with the new members’ email
addresses. Submissions made before 10am CST, Monday through Friday (excluding
holidays), are typically processed on the same day. For requests at other times, anticipate
a 24-hour turnaround.
