Automated Attendance: Upcoming Faculty Training

Posted on: July 30th, 2013 by CHRISTOPHER REICHLEY

The automated attendance system has been expanded to cover additional rooms and it now includes more functionality to monitor and record attendance. There are three upcoming training seminars to better support faculty and plan for future enhancements.

The training will acquaint the faculty with the barcode scanners and their operation so that they may better assist the students. The training will also demonstrate the use of the new myOleMiss functionality for configuring their classrooms and viewing the attendance records.  Each session will last roughly one hour and will include time for questions and requests towards future enhancements.

We encourage anyone teaching in a room with scanners or anyone else who is interested in the system to attend.  You may register for one of the sessions below.
